today is 1 year without Mr Grey

he was our awesome pest control. 
we didn't realize how much he was doing for us.. 
I miss my happy greeter. 

we have had many more ground squirrels in the front yard...
and many more mice in the back yard/chicken coop...

we had our first snake in the yard today.. we put all the dogs away, then shoo'd him through the chain link.. I was not concerned because "he's" not dangerous.. VERY pretty though. ugh, I hate meat bees

the meat bees are back.. this time they are messing with Mr Grey's food on the front porch.. I can't spend as much time out there with him, I just run and hide I need to get my bug traps set up in the back yard AND the front..

I know an old lady.. who's 4 years old!!

how did she get to be so old? I remember when she was 1... 6 months of fun, when all said and done..  I remember when she was 2... already a mom, but we made it through... I remember when she was 3...  so ball-obsessed, but we let her be..  and now she's 4 🎵𝅘𝅥𝅮   is this the little girl I carried is this the little girl at play? I don't remember growing older?  when did they?  when did she get to be a beauty?  when did she grow to be so tall?  wasn't it yesterday when she was small?
