Almnoy Farms

Lavender was the nicest of the Biggs. and she's actually more of a pushover than we thought. Beauty was a little intimidated by Lavender but Irma was not and made the first peck.  Lavender was submissive from then on, making Emma and Bleu an easier introduction.    Dude, the ever-working flock guardian 💖     meanwhile... Momma and Livers are inseparable! Momma climbed behind my desk, and under Ronnie's desk. Liverwurst went bonkers calling for her.  today I was holding Liverwurst trying to win her over, and Momma was flapping and calling for her..    soon they'll outgrow their enclosure, and we'll have to re-integrate them all..

I moved 2 of the Biggs inside.. Liverwurst & Momma Lavender stayed outside with the Littles teaching 'em how to be a chicken in a coop.. she was very accepting of them.. Livers & Momma, not so much 😠 they are kept in a cage inside.. this was just their free time to roam..  CritterBugg is VERY curious of them.. but she keeps her distance..  they are her size and they are NOT intimidated by her!! 

     this was their first day 'free range' in the kitchen.  they went bonkers!!!!  they cleaned up every little speck and crumb that I didn't get 

She's from the same breeder as our first group of chicks. This time I got a BLUE Copper Marans (Chicken Little was a Black Copper Marans) She is roughly the same age as Emma, Irma, and Beauty but slightly larger than one of the golden twins.  She has furry legs/feet and beautiful copper coloring..  Her name is (Cordon) Bleu 💙🩵 the ladies OUTSIDE are enjoying their coop!   Liverwurst always has an angry look and she'll happily attack you if you seem to be a threat. I'm still trying to win her over..  Lavender is very trusting and friendly Momma gets a little worried sometimes... very flighty..

if I had any extra spending $$ I'd make him a cupcake and have party hats  yep, I am that kind of momma

Dude is keepin' watch.. Nona is just sleepin'.. she is retired, she doesn't have to work any longer.. she still enjoys spending time with the girls though..  EDIT 8/5/16: the morning after their first night outside! 😀
