Almnoy Farms

she was named for her lavender tinge of grey.  she turned 8 in May, and was our oldest chicken.  she was an Olive-Egger (chicken mutt of Copper Marans and Ameraucana) who laid olive green eggs.  she taught the others what to do and not to do.. she put them in their place and was mediator when any fights broke out. she was our sweetest chicken.  

where has the time gone?!? he's definitely not this tiny... but didn't get as big as I was expecting... he's my "petite pocket" Standard Schnauzer  Lil' Man is an awesome Dude tonight he gets Pumpkin Spice birthday cake  don't worry.. it's doggie-friendly.. 

7 and a half years later, we don't get this array anymore.  the one "blue" on the bottom.. that's it.. I get 4 of those..  the browns, and green, and maroon are all done.  I have one brown layer left but she hasn't laid in over a year.. and my green and maroon layers just stopped laying this year..
