wow, a bird slammed into the window !
I was thinking maybe falcon or baby hawk - it was a Cooper's Hawk. not very big. Lillie's play-stand was just on the other side of that window. I think he was headed right for her. She got spooked and flew behind the couch. I missed the photo-op. he lay on the deck for almost 1/2 an hour and then just flew away.

we just had a grey fox in the front yard
we were watching him from up above on the top deck... wish I had a good camera to take a picture it's dark out there so you wouldn't have been able to see him. it was very beautiful though. and not very big. we recently cleaned Lillie's parrot cage and he was eating every seed shell on the ground. it's the first one we've seen in real life. seen the ones in the zoo and pictures and t.v., never a wild one.
