there was a time when we had multiple multiple kitties coming to visit

long hair.. short hair.. big kitties.. petite kitties.. much to Critter's disapproval.

of the whole bunch there was 1 VERY skittish kitty who you would only get a quick flash of as he ran off..

that kitty is now our resident front porch guard-cat

he basically lives on the porch (I made him a little home) except when hunting for bugs and mice and gophers..

and in return for the food I give him, he brings me gifts

I've learned to appreciate his gifts and have the courage now to dispose of them (without losing my stomach..)

he lets me pet him.. rubs all over me if I don't pet him, or take too long with food..

Critter is okay with him being on the porch now..

Charlie and Dude have seen him (at separate times) and were the 'goodest boys!' by not chasing or barking..

I think they pretty much just stared in awe (..and the front door closed before they could react)
