wish I had pictures but it was dark when we gathered.

we have 4 egg-layers now!! woo hoo!! 

Momma is still consistently laying. now our 3 Orpingtons (Irma, Emma, Beauty) have joined in. 

Livers and Lavender are slacking! they are older than the Orps.

but what an AWESOME way to end a rough year.

we had our first snake in the yard today.. we put all the dogs away, then shoo'd him through the chain link.. I was not concerned because "he's" not dangerous.. VERY pretty though. I know an old lady.. who's 4 years old!!

how did she get to be so old? I remember when she was 1... 6 months of fun, when all said and done..  I remember when she was 2... already a mom, but we made it through... I remember when she was 3...  so ball-obsessed, but we let her be..  and now she's 4 🎵𝅘𝅥𝅮   is this the little girl I carried is this the little girl at play? I don't remember growing older?  when did they?  when did she get to be a beauty?  when did she grow to be so tall?  wasn't it yesterday when she was small?
