so.. Big Momma is a Black Ameraucana.. but.. she's also a he..
Bigg Poppa crowed his first.. I wasn't sure.. but a neighbor also heard it..
so I separated him.. and, yep.. he's been renamed to B.U.Ck. (Big Ugly Chicken) and he'll be leaving..


but besides that.. the chickens got to enjoy some sun for Thanksgiving Eve day 
the "girls" (can't call 'em that anymore) frequently are in pairs..
sweet Irma with miss Emma behind her.. mr BUCk with Black Beauty.. and then Lavender with Bleu right beside her..

Liverwurst has not been feeling the greatest.. I keep my eye on her 💔
she is a Blue Ameraucana - whereas BUCK is the Black Ameraucana.. 
she was the most aggressive.. now she's our lap-cat of chickens.. 💗

we had our first snake in the yard today.. we put all the dogs away, then shoo'd him through the chain link.. I was not concerned because "he's" not dangerous.. VERY pretty though. I know an old lady.. who's 4 years old!!

how did she get to be so old? I remember when she was 1... 6 months of fun, when all said and done..  I remember when she was 2... already a mom, but we made it through... I remember when she was 3...  so ball-obsessed, but we let her be..  and now she's 4 🎵𝅘𝅥𝅮   is this the little girl I carried is this the little girl at play? I don't remember growing older?  when did they?  when did she get to be a beauty?  when did she grow to be so tall?  wasn't it yesterday when she was small?
